Worked great until the blade fell off after 1yr ~ reviewed by Jeff Hoel
I enjoyed using this tool for about 1 year before the blade fell off while removing a heavy clump of crabgrass from my garden.
The crabgrass in my area can get really bad in the summer, and this blade does a great job of getting under the thick mesh and then prying it up.
The tool is composed of three pieces – A wood handle, a metal shaft, and the triangular blade.
The failure point was the spot weld connecting the blade to the metal shaft.
I really like the concept of the tool and I’ll be looking for something similar with a more durable construction to replace this.
very well made ~ reviewed by Carol J. Dingwell
This is my new favorite gardening tool. It has a smooth wooden handle that fits nicely in your hand and is light weight enough to be comfortable. The triangular shaped blade is sharp enough to cut through most weeds quickly. Don’t know why these are not available locally but then I find everything on Amazon easier anyway and with two day shipping it saves me shopping. I don’t think these are made to use on heavy weeds like a hoe more like planters and smaller ground weeds.
… use this for scraping trench walls to create a nice flat clean surface to observe faulting ~ reviewed by Derek Rector
I’m a geologist and use this for scraping trench walls to create a nice flat clean surface to observe faulting. It is an awesome scraper that works great in fine sand, silt and clay (as long as the clay isn’t too dry and hard). It has replaced the hula-hoe as my tool of choice “in the trenches”.
meh ~ reviewed by a Smith
I’m not sure these are stainless steel as mine is already rusting. These work well in loose soil like in a garden bed, but not sturdy enough for clay me thinks. A hand stirrup hoe would be better.
The best tool for you garden ~ reviewed by Deborah R Marziano
I use this tool almost exclusively for weeding in the garden. I buy them online for my friends. The local garden centers don’t carry them and I have no idea why. They are missing out on a tremendous product!

This is the garden tool I use for almost everything – best to keep it sharp to make weeding and cultivating easy. After a few years the spot weld will fail, but that is OK it really gets a workout in my garden.
Works great, but the handle is made of cheap wood … ~ reviewed by Jean M. Pfankuch
Works great, but the handle is made of cheap wood and not sanded enough. I had to remove a sliver from my hand after using the tool. I like the plastic cover for the blade because it is very sharp.
Best weeder and trencher I have ever had ~ reviewed by Ann M.
Best weeder and trencher I have ever had. If you get it, paint the handle red or you will lose it. I lost my first one within a couple of weeks of purchase and have still not found it.

Small but mighty. Great for women gardeners with small hands and trying to get into tight spots for weeding.
