Silky , Best Ive ever owned or used. ~ reviewed by Damian
These are the fastest cutting folding saws I have ever had the pleasure of owning.I work in landscaping and construction, so more than a few saws have been through my collectiin. Not as “rugged” as my bahco Laplander but it feels much better constructed and cuts faster. You must use proper silky cutting technique to gain the benefits of these saws without bending or breaking the blade. BUT, when used and handled correctly, trust me you will become a silky fanatic.
Great Saw ~ reviewed by E. D. Avila
It’s a Silky. This is the second one I’ve ordered. The first one has medium teeth. These saws are incredibly easy to use. I have arthritis, and the saws cut through wood with no effort. I would have saved a lot of money over the years if I’d gotten a Silky to begin with.
Must have ~ reviewed by Shawn Melton
I’ve used this as my go to in the forest since receiving it. I use it for exacting cuts when bushcrafting or harvesting fatwood from tree branches. It’s great for cutting notches out of hearth boards for bow drills. This is why I got the fine toothed one, it is more versatile and is brightly colored for the bush. I can do fine work and still cut larger branches. Just take your time and utilize the cutting surface on the draw back instead of forward. If you don’t pay attention, the blade will bow on you if you aren’t sound in your technique.
Nice folding hand saw for the garden ~ reviewed by Jena
Nice folding hand saw for the garden. , seems high quality. Cuts through small branches efficiently. The blade is very thin so you have to be a little bit careful not to bind it or it will bend. Great for much of my pruning needs though I thought I might also purchase one of Silky’s other folding hand saws that has a coarser tooth, this one is pretty fine and makes a nice clean cut.
Great for hobbyists and small DIY home projects. ~ reviewed by Gadget Geekette
I occasionally whittle found branches. This little saw makes fast work of the wood I find. It also comes in handy for small DIY projects around the house. I had to cut a 4×4 piece of lumber to make two inch spacers and it cut the wood like butter. Am planning to take mine camping the plastic case fits well on a belt. Glad I made this purchase and it arrived promptly.
Perfect for thinning bamboo ~ reviewed by Louisa S
Some of our lovely bamboo grew too close to the house – made a mess of the clippers and pruning tools, trying to tame it. This knife cuts through bamboo canes like they were butter! Very good tool!

but I did an excellent job on the shrubs and tree limbs I needed … ~ reviewed by K. Lincourt
This is my only handsaw – so I don’t have much to compare it to; but I did an excellent job on the shrubs and tree limbs I needed to cut this spring.
