Less Effort Required for Greater Cuts
If you’ve ever tried cutting medium sized branches, but have found it a struggle using regular Pruning Shears… then, you’ll love using these Ezy Pruners!
The way in which these Ratchet Pruners work is they have a ratcheting mechanism in place that takes care of as much as 80% of the workload for you! All you have to do is to place the jaws of the anvil blade around the object that you’re wanting to cut, like you would an ordinary pruner… grip the handles, squeeze ever so gently until you hear a locking sound… and as simple as 3 easy squeezes… you’ll have a nice clean cut right before you!
No more struggling to cut tough branches of wood, and getting nowhere!
What Kind of Cuts Can You Expect From These?
Your Ezy Pruners will make short work of hard branches of up to 1″ thick. Though, this doesn’t mean you need to only save these for those bigger tasks… you will find your ratchet pruners are great for trimming flower stems, getting rid of dead plants, or any small to medium pruning task, really!

Love the ratchet concept, makes pruning a breeze ! ~ reviewed by Jim McCullen
Love the Ratchet! ~ reviewed by DDavidson
It is winter here in Indiana and the pruning is done for the year but I really wanted to test these babies out. So, I went to the nearest tree. I have never had a pair of ratchet pruners before but it sure does make a difference. The ratchet locks the pruner in place and holds the branch until you squeeze again. It took much less pressure to do limbs up to 1″ thick. The pruners are made of sturdy aluminum and have a good grip. These would work well for people who have arthritic hands and cannot apply the constant pressure needed on other pruners. I am so happy I was chosen to receive these at a discount to provide my truthful and unbiased review. They will be put to good use this spring!
They are a really nice complement to the shears I currently have ~ reviewed by Dad of Four
Just tested these in the yard today. They are a really nice complement to the shears I currently have. They cut through a 1 inch branch without a problem and with only using one hand. No other shears I have can do that. The are either not strong enough or they require two hands. The ratcheting action makes it possible to only use one hand. Might be a little tricky at first but once you get the hang of it the ratcheting action is a huge plus so you can hold the branch with one hand and prune/cut with the other. Just cleaned up a big pile of pine branches that had fallen during a storm and these shears made easy work of it.
Clever design of quality pruning shears. ~ reviewed by SInohey
For the past decade there has been a veritable avalanche of chinese made products on the US market. Sadly most are of sub-standard quality, shoddy production with flimsy materials. However, several companies stand out from the rest by their superior workmanship backed by sincere customer care. Elite Garden Tools is an example of such a company.
The sales promo clearly describes the materials and functions of the EZY Pruner shears and do not need repeating. The shears appear and feel sturdy but how well do they work?
I put them to the test on bushes in my yard and pruned my neighbor’s (an elderly widow) trees. It took a very short learning curve to master the (clever) mechanism of the graduated ratchet mechanism. Twiglets and leaves are easily snipped by the front of the blade; larger branches (0.5″ to 1″) are best cut by the middle of the blade. A moderate squeeze (a normal handshake) is enough to engage the ratchet, release then squeeze again and repeat until the branch is completely cut through.
My neighbor, who has small arthritic hands, had no trouble cutting through several branches and seemed delighted with the ease of use of the shears. I gave them to her, and plan to buy a few more for myself and family. I have large hands (can palm a basketball) but had no trouble handling/using the EZY Pruner shears.
The packaging is compact plastic bubble and includes clear instructions printed on the back. It also includes a “Thank You” note with direction to their website to receive “Successful Pruning Tips” guide.
I really like the EZY Pruners and recommend them.

Easiest Pruning Shears I’ve Ever Used ~ reviewed by Cheshire Cat
When we first moved to our house I knew the bushes needed trimming but I resisted getting a pair of pruning shears. They just seemed expensive for how little I would use them. Having tried these shears, I wish I’d gotten them sooner, they make pruning the bushes in my yard so much easier. With nice clean cuts I love my complimentary pruning shears. The gunk from the bushes wipes right off with ease.
They lock closed which is nice, and it’s very easy to work, even for my 2 year old which is why I only gave this 4 stars.
Very easy to hold and easy to use. ~ reviewed by Jana Hardin
The shears are very well made and easy to hold. I have rheumatoid arthritis so my hands are always sore and I have trouble holding and using a lot of shears. Since these have the ratchet feature it made it easier to use. It is winter here so not much to prune but I decided to go out and use them on a bush I had been wanting to cut back but never got around to it. One because I was dreading using the other shears I had since they hurt my hands. I was pleasantly surprised at how easy they were to hold and use. To start you just push down on the black bracket between the handles to unlock them. One side of it is serrated for easy grip on the branch. I was surprised to did not take any effort to cut the branches. It cuts up to 1 inch thick branches. I was so glad I chosen to test this product for quality and give my unbiased opinion. I know these are going to get a lot of use this spring when the fun really begins around here.
Great for Arthritis & Pain or Elderly! ~ reviewed by Rebecca Johnson
Ok, so I have terrible painful joints and muscles and am super weak. I love these Ezy Pruners Ratchet Pruning Shears because they have a ratchet feature. This made cutting and trimming the tree’s and bushes in our yard so simple for me. Do you have arthritis? Or maybe an elderly relative that love’s gardening? These are the perfect Pruning Shears for them. They are also nice and light weight.
The Ezy Pruners Ratchet Pruning Shears are a high carbon steel blade. They tend to stay sharp and last longer than a regular blade will. The Ezy Pruners Ratchet Pruning Shears have a Teflon coating to keep sap and rust off your Shears.
My husband and I both tried these out in our yard. We just moved and the plants here are a mess and need some serious pruning. He was most pleased with the ratcheting feature and I loved how light and easy they were to use. I could handle quite a bit of pruning with the Ezy Pruners Ratchet Pruning Shears without them causing me much pain.

Great working Ratchet Pruning Shears by Better Living Made Easy. ~ reviewed by Carol S.
I was so happy to get to review these Ratchet Pruning Shears, sharp 8 in. anvil pruner, at a discount in exchange for an honest and unbiased review. This time of year, there are a lot of dead branches and plants to clean up. This were sharp out of the package and easy to use. Just push down on the black bracket between the handles to unlock them, and off you go. They are an easy fit in the hand too. To open it really wide, and to get through the thicker branches, I used two hands. My hands are smaller and I have more leverage and strength using the two hands. They are made of SK5 high carbon steel and are Teflon coated. I really didn’t have any sap stick on them, so they worked great. We have a few Oleander bushes that didn’t fully come back all summer. Now that we know for sure which branches are truly dead, we can clean them out with this. They are easy to clean up, and with the small but very efficient size, really easy to store when not in use. They come with a few instructions and a 30 day challenge. I’m always up for a challenge like this, lol. Great quality and easy to use. Anyone with plantings outside definitely need pruning shears. These are great ones too.
Great Pruning Shears ~ reviewed by Super Me
I have many different rose bushes and various other bushes that need to be pruned. With the winter months, not so much, but this winter has been mild, so I went out there just to try these out. With my old pair of pruning shears, it took a lot of strength on my part to prune leaving my hand very sore. I almost dreaded the task of pruning. Using these, there is little to no effort needed on my part. These do all the hard work for you. The red part of the handle insures a nice no slip grip. I also love the lock feature in these to keep them closed to protect the instrument. I really love how the one part is serated to grip the branch and the blade is so sharp. This helps keep it from slipping out and getting the perfect cut. These are very sharp and lightweight. It is made with durable materials and I can tell this will last me a very long time.
