Gets it done! ~ reviewed by Stephen Aldrich
I use this shovel just for snow and it works great. The shovel is light but very strong and the scoop is huge. When you combine it with the Bully Tools 92200 Heavy Duty Sidewalk and Ice Chopper with Long Steel Handle (not the one with the plastic handle) you have everything you need to clear snow and ice in half the time it used to take, no exaggeration. I heart Bully tools.
Will not stand by warranty replacment. ~ reviewed by D. Seegraves
Have had my shovel for 4 or 5 years and has came apart at the handle to shovel blade connection. Big crack in the plastic. I have contacted the company and they will not replace it (stated as normal wear)? That is why I bought this: the warranty and made in the U.S.. What is normal wear? I have a long asphalt drive and we had a lot of snow this season. I have two shovels for snow and this one does not have the steel protective strip on the shovel blade edge and is now not flat across the blade but is concave by at least 3in.. I used this shovel normally for me and has failed, but Bully will not replace it. If you have a long drive and are in a snow area this shovel will wear out because the shovel blade is just plastic no steel protective strip.
Nothing’s better then a bully… ~ reviewed by TJR
Bully makes very well engineered and manafactured tools that to stand up to a good amount of abuse and this scoop is no exception. For the average weekend warrior or homeowner this is a hand-me-down for sure. The scoop is strong, light and big. I use it for mulching and it can hold so much material that it’s actually hard to pick up when I load it to the max. I intend to use it for shoveling snow and expect it will perform well but it’s probably not engineered to shovel a lot vs. clearing steps, small walkway or that pesky area the snowblower just won’t fit. However, that’s just a guess based on my experience with various shovels vs. actually using this scoop in the snow.
