A Top Quality Tool ~ reviewed by Dave S.
A well made tool that will survive years of use. I had a True Temper Warren hoe that I purchased at a big box store, and the first time I used it the hoe came loose from the handle. This tool has a steel pin through the handle which fastens the hoe permanently to the handle. The hoe is forged steel, a bit heavy, but it works great in the garden. Do yourself a favor and spend the extra money for this quality garden tool.
A well received gift for mom ~ reviewed by Joshua C Nunez
I asked my mom what she wanted for her birthday, and she said a warren hoe with a fiberglass handle. So I bought this one. She is very pleased with it. It’s handle is light and sturdy. The hoe blade is heavy and cuts deep into the soil. She loves it.
great tool ~ reviewed by Norbert Barrette
well made. heavy duty blade and handle-should last for years. There are cheaper V shaped hoes out there, but the old axiom is still true: “You get what you pay for”.
Well made and well designed – highly recommended! ~ reviewed by Wanderer
I recently picked up this hoe, along with several other Bully Tools offerings, because I was tired of using one generic garden hoe, and a poorly made one at that, for all my weeding, planting, earth moving and other yard work jobs. As is often said, it’s possible to have one tool for all those jobs, but it won’t do any of them particularly well. That and most generic hoes are just not well made and are cheap import junk.
This warren hoe, by contrast, is a high quality, well-made, American-produced specialty product. You won’t use it to move earth like a regular hoe, nor to weed like one. It’s good for going at a small weeds, using the pointed end to avoid disturbing the surrounding earth, but also for getting in deep, right behind a large weed, where a regular hoe wouldn’t penetrate into the soil (because they’re not pointed like this one). It also has a much steeper angle than a regular hoe, so when you use it to make rows for planting, you can flip it over and have the blade perpendicular to the ground while the handle is still at a usable angle, allowing you to close/cover the rows by pulling it over them. If the blade were at a 90 degree angle to the handle, you’d have to lay the handle on the ground to get the upside-down blade perpendicular to the ground in the same way.
On the whole, a superbly constructed, high quality specialty hoe. This won’t replace your generic garden hoe, nor will it take the place of a cavex, beet or field hoe (which all have their own place), but it will serve it’s intended purpose better than any of those other models. If you’re tired of using a one-size-fits-all approach, you definitely should add one of these to your arsenal. Having the right tool for the job makes all the difference in the world, and this is probably the best built warren hoe that you could buy.
Great product! ~ reviewed by Cindy GC
Used in hard, rocky Texas soil. Not a whimper from this baby! Solid through and through. Used to pry up rocks, no problem. Expect this to last. Highly recommend!
Works like a charm! ~ reviewed by JD
I received this just in time for planting my garden this spring and I’ve got to say, it worked so well I am considering other garden tools from Bully Tools. The hoe is very solidly made with very strong welds and a heavy blade. It made making rows easy and very uniform. Highly recommend.
Specialized Hoe ~ reviewed by LindaK
This hoe works really well in the vegetable garden breaking up clods and making rows. It is a heavy duty professional tool and I don’t think it will fall apart like the last hoe I bought from Home Depot. Don’t buy cheaply made tools!
Great Hoe ~ reviewed by cory
I use this to scrape down all the weeds between my plants, it save you from bending over so much and hurting your back! it feels very well built, but that’s to be expected since its made in the USA
Well made ~ reviewed by New Mommy
This hoe is very well made and I like that it is produced in the USA. A little on the heavy side though and I can’t believe that it didn’t come pre-sharpened.
Very sturdy ~ reviewed by Diancatzdogz
This hoe is sturdy and it really cuts through the weeds and dirt plus it is made in the USA. My hubby says this hoe works better than any other we have had. With the shape and good point in the front it will cut through the hard packed dirt (doesn’t do much on sod).
